DEFINITIONBusiness

Pricing Model

The structure by which you charge — flat subscription, per seat, usage-based, tiered, freemium, one-time, or commission. Distinct from the price itself.

EXAMPLE

Charging per itinerary created is usage-based; charging per agent with an account is per seat. Same product, different customers, and a different roadmap behind each.

WHY IT MATTERS

The model decides who buys, how they use the product, and what you have to build — metering and quotas for usage, teams and roles for seats. It's a product decision, not a spreadsheet one.
